Amazon delivery late Use this to request compensation

One of the main reasons people pay an annual fee for an Amazon Prime membership is the guaranteed two-day shipping time for almost every item.

Add an item to your cart, check out, and two days (or less) later, your package will arrive. No fuss, no stress – instant gratification. And for the most part, the guaranteed prime delivery times are reliable.

But with the holiday shopping season approaching, shipping services will be shut down with an increased volume of packages across the country. This of course leads to inevitable transit and delivery delays.

So what if you don’t get your Amazon Prime delivery on its guaranteed delivery date? If you’ve planned your day around something you’ve been hoping to achieve then it can be really frustrating!

Of course, Amazon wants to do well with its Prime promise and keep its paying customers happy. In case you didn’t know, Online Shopping King compensates customers for missing out on its guaranteed delivery time!

What if your Amazon Prime delivery is getting late?

If your Amazon Prime delivery doesn’t get to you on its guaranteed delivery date, there’s a good chance the company will extend your subscription by a month.

Some are saying that, on top of the free Prime membership extension, they’ve also received additional compensation like refunds and credits by simply asking nicely!

This is a good step by customer service to keep their customers happy.

All you have to do is contact Amazon’s customer service. You can either call 888-280-4331 or click here to get in touch via Amazon’s website. There are a few simple steps when you choose to go through the website.

First, under the Contact Us header, you’ll see, “What can we help you with?” Click the “I placed an order” tab.

The second step is, “Tell us more about your problem.” You will see two drop-down boxes. In the first, “Where’s my stuff?” In the second select, select “Shipment is late”.

The last step is, “How would you like to contact us?” Select Email, Phone or Chat.

Just like that, you get an extra month of your Amazon Prime subscription at no charge. Not too shabby for quick contact with customer service.

Keep in mind, there’s no guarantee Amazon will offer this for every late delivery. However, what do you have to lose? It only takes a few minutes of your time and is totally worth it for the free month of service.
